100+ Favorite Christmas Cookies

Tis the season where it’s totally acceptable to bake 5, 6, even 10 different kinds of cookies! I mean really, think about it. What other month could you bake this much and not be judged or questioned for it…definitely not January, your friends will hate you if you show up with a plate of cookies in January. I know I generally promote healthier eating and recipes, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that I indulge when December rolls around. I of course try to remember moderation, but I certainly don’t deprive myself of making and eating Christmas cookies! Because this is what I believe should be labeled national cookie month, I joined forces with a whole bunch of talented bloggers and together we’ve compiled 100+ Favorite Christmas Cookies!
100 Favorite Christmas CookiesI honestly don’t think I have a favorite kind of Christmas cookie, for the most part I love them all. There are so many unique flavor combinations, shapes, colors, textures, how are you supposed to pick one favorite when there are literally hundreds to choose from? As long as someone put the effort and love into baking them rather than buying a box at the store there’s a good chance I’ll be eating them. My contributions to this collection of gorgeous Christmas cookies includes, Vanilla and Chocolate Pizzelles. My family has made pizzelles every Christmas since I was a kid. I was lucky enough to inherit my grandma’s pizzelle press and I think about her every Christmas when I make them.

Cookie cups are a foolproof way of making cookies in case you have problems with them spreading all over the baking sheet. Fill them with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and you have the perfect holiday bite!
