Angel food cupcakes filled with strawberry jam and topped with a lick the bowl good whipped cream-cream cheese frosting! Top them with a fresh strawberry for the perfect celebratory cupcakes!

Strawberry Filled Angel Food Cupcakes | Angel food cupcake filled with strawberry jam, topped with whipped cream frosting & a strawberry!Well I am officially another year older as of yesterday. I can’t say I feel much different, although I did have to have my husband open a bottle of ibuprofen for me because apparently my strength went from that of a 30 year old to one of a 90 year old over night. I did nail my tempo run that morning, of course that was the reason for needing the ibuprofen later. Anyways, all in all it was a terrific birthday and the festivities are only starting.

Strawberry Filled Angel Food Cupcakes | Angel food cupcake filled with strawberry jam, topped with whipped cream frosting & a strawberry!Today I’m continuing the birthday fun by sharing this delicious recipe for Strawberry Filled Angel Food Cupcakes over on my friend Ashley’s blog, Spoonful of Flavor. These cupcakes are reminiscent of the dessert I requested far too often as a kid on my birthday, angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. I mean really, what’s not to love about that dessert? Sweet strawberries, light airy cake, and fluffy whipped cream, I’m pretty sure I could eat it every day!

I love how you stuff these cupcakes with the strawberry filling itself! What a great way to pack in more flavor!

These are so pretty! I just love this! :) My mom used to serve us slices of angel food cake topped with strawberries and Cool Whip. This is such a fancy twist on that.

You seriously know the way to my heart with these cupcakes. Maybe someday you can properly teach me how to stuff a cupcake with filling. ;)
