Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon flax meal
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • granola, toasted unsweetened coconut flakes, dried goji berries and fresh blueberries for topping the smoothie bowl.

Instructions

  • In a regular or high speed blender, blend the oats and flax meal until flour like in consistency. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

If you have a standard blender and the oats won't grind into a flour-like consistency, try using a coffee grinder instead.
