Two Ingredient Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark

- 12 ounces good quality dark chocolate chopped
- 5 candy canes crushed
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Heat a small pot with several inches of water on the stove over medium low heat. Cover the pot with a tightly fitting heat proof bowl making sure the surface of the water doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl.
Add in the dark chocolate and allow it to melt, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and stir until it is completely smooth.
Pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth it out into an even layer about 1/8-1/4 inch thick, it won't cover the entire baking sheet.
Sprinkle the chocolate immediately with the crushed candy canes.
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow it to harden for 15 minutes before breaking into pieces.
