Chocolate Cherry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, or milk of choice.
  • 1/2 cup pitted cherries, fresh or frozen will work
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey, use more or less depending on how sweet you want it
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • If you want a thicker smoothie use frozen cherries as well as a frozen banana or you can add a few ice cubes. Serve immediately.

Notes

If you don't like almond extract substitute with vanilla extract or leave out all together. I highly recommend the almond extract.
