Well guys, it’s stinking hot here in Arizona! Last weekend it was a 112…no that is not a typo. It’s been close to 110 all week, and this morning as I drove to work just before 8:00 AM it was already 90 degrees. So, actually saying it’s hot here is an understatement!
All the sweating made me pretty thirsty last Sunday so I decided to make a nice frosty cold smoothie for lunch. Since cherries are in season right now I knew I had to put those in it. I discovered while pitting my cherries by hand how much I desperately wanted a cherry pitter like this one. My husband would disagree with me saying that I have enough kitchen gadgets. What does he know, I didn’t see him standing there removing pits from all those cherries. I did however see him suck down a tall glass of my smoothie, enjoying every drop of it!

And bananas to. I’m going g to use canned coconut milk. I do have almond extract Its amazing with anything cherry. Thankyou for this recipe! Hope you are doing well. Btw, my son my only child lives in Flagstaff. Where are you located?
