- 1 pound asparagus, woody ends removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
- Zest of a lemon
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 3 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
Preheat grill to high heat. In a large bowl or sheet pan, drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat then lay them onto the heated grill. Grill for 3-5 minutes or to desired tenderness. Roll or turn them once to get grill marks on both top sides.
Remove the asparagus to a serving platter and top with lemon zest, lemon juice and shredded parmesan cheese.
