Cozy up this holiday season with a warm, dairy-free, delicious Bourbon Eggnog Latte!

Bourbon Eggnog Latte | Cozy up this holiday season with a dairy-free Bourbon Eggnog Latte! #ad #SilkHolidays As far as holiday flavors go, I’ve already covered cranberry-orange and gingerbread. Now it’s time to talk about one of the most controversial flavors that people either love or hate, eggnog. Personally I love the stuff! It only shows up in the stores for a short period of time so I made sure to grab a couple cartons while I can.

Eggnog is a drink that I can only handle in small doses because let’s face it, that is one rich drink! Most eggnog has over 220 calories and 10 or more grams of fat in one cup making it hard to justify drinking that whole cup. I’m a person who would much rather eat those calories than drink them. Luckily Silk Nog has come to my rescue! Not only does it contain less calories and fat compared to the standard glass of eggnog, but it’s also dairy free and perfect for adding into this holiday inspired Bourbon Eggnog Latte!

Bourbon Eggnog Latte | Cozy up this holiday season with a dairy-free Bourbon Eggnog Latte! #ad #SilkHolidays When I bought the Silk Nog I was a little skeptical. Would it be as rich and creamy as regular eggnog? Would it have that wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg spiced flavor that I love? I’m happy to report being the traditional eggnog lover that I am, Silk Nog passed and exceeded my expectations, not to mention I didn’t feel any guilt after I finished an entire glass of it!

Bourbon Eggnog Latte | Cozy up this holiday season with a dairy-free Bourbon Eggnog Latte! #ad #SilkHolidays While I enjoyed sipping on the eggnog by itself, I had special plans for it. As many of you know I LOVE my espresso drinks! I look forward to the weekends when my husband takes me out to one of my favorite coffee shops after I finish my long run. Honestly, sometimes it’s knowing that I’ll be going to get a hot delicious caffeinated cup of coffee after my run that gets me through it.

Of course lattes are always on the menu at coffee shops, but the bourbon and dairy-free nog isn’t. That’s where making these bourbon eggnog lattes at home comes in handy. They are perfect for serving with your holiday brunch, or even as a nightcap with dessert after Christmas dinner (better make it decaf if you choose to go that route). Heck, you could even make yourself one after a long day of holiday shopping, I guarantee we could all use one after standing in long lines at the stores. This holiday season treat yourself to one of these dairy-free and delicious bourbon eggnog lattes!

Oh I am a total egg-nog lover. But I do usually feel a little guilty (and weighed down!) after drinking a whole glass. Excited to try out Silk Nog. And of course this bourbon spiked latte is calling my name!

The Silk Nog is a great alternative Liz! So much lighter, but just as delicious. I knew I could count on you to appreciate the added bourbon! ;-)
